Parable of the Mustard Seed

Jesus says that the Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed, but what does that mean?  What work is required of us to plant and grow the Kingdom in the world?  Jesus invites us to immerse ourselves in what God is doing and to remember that no matter how complicated things look, the truth is simple.
