Identity Swap

When getting directions to get somewhere, you need two reference points: 1.) Where you're going, 2.) Where you're starting. You can’t find a place without out knowing first where you are going. Equally important is knowing where you’re starting from. Jesus and living a life according to the Spirit is always the goal, but we can’t know how to get there until we know who we are. In our relationship with God, we need to know our position, our position is the point of reference that we start from. That point of reference is our identity. But we often get that point of reference wrong.
