It's Personal

God is a person and He is personal. This means that He can be related to and He can relate with us. He possesses the qualities of personhood meaning He has the characteristics of a person - the ability to think, act, communicate and make decisions. He’s emotional, He loves, He gets angry, He pursues justice, He grieves, He feels sorrow, He's compassionate. He’s deeply interested in the affairs of His creation and importantly He is deeply interested in YOU. This has many implications for our lives, in particular to this text, what we do with our doubts about who He is and His promises.
