When the heat is on, when betrayed, do we remember that we have heaven inside of us? Do we remember the love inside of us that comes from faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Sometimes all we feel is the pain/sting of a betrayal & we don’t look past it at the greater thing God might be doing, and respond with the spirit working itself out in love and faith. Pride and insecurities well up, frustrations boil, it’s all too much for our sinful flesh to handle. Our flesh is either passionate for vengeance or lazy/apathetic to the hard work of true reconciliation. Our natural born heart doesn’t have the strength or capacity to forgive/reconcile in a truly redemptive/healthy way. So what do we do?.....
