Preparing the Way
Matthew chapters 3-4, Jesus is prepared for his public ministry on earth. At the end of chapter 4, Jesus offers his first disciples both an invitation and a command - “follow me”. The scriptures prior prepare readers to give Jesus an answer, "yes" or "no". In this study we will learn about the truths that characterized Jesus’ preparation for his public ministry, and how his preparation applies to our lives, and how it prepares us to say “yes” to following Jesus and doing the work he sets out for us.
